We believe access to financial empowerment education is critical to overcoming systemic economic barriers.

Without adequate financial education, students are more likely to struggle with debt, financial stress and limited economic mobility. In Connecticut, fewer than 20% of public high schools guaranteed a personal finance class to students in 2024.

Change is coming with two new exciting Connecticut initiatives - a financial literacy high school graduation requirement and Baby Bonds. CTFS is here to help with both.
